Classical Guitarist Gerald Boy

Gerald Boy is a Classical recording artist based in Ontario, Canada. His third released titled, "My New Guitar," contains 17 original classical guitar compositions. Gerald's unique element is that, in addition to being a composer, he also makes his own guitars!

"As I was putting the finishing touches on my third guitar, the one I ended up using to record the third album," he notes, "a tune started circulating in my mind. I was doing the final sanding, anticipating how it would be to finally put the strings on this guitar and find out what kind of sound it would produce. That's the scary part about making guitars - it's not until the entire instrument is finished that you know whether you have a good guitar or a great one. Once the strings were on, I hurried into the house and into my music room."

Gerald Boy has created an easy-listening, mellow acoustic guitar music. All compositions are his own, influenced by his admiration for the works of Segovia, Sor and Bream, as well as by his childhood spent in France.

Reviewer Karen Heels states, "From a walk through bluebells to the loneliness of an afternoon to the celebration of all that is divine, Gerald Boy's 'My New Guitar' takes us on a musical ride through life."

MuBiz.com Developing Joint-Venture Promotion for Indie Artists

MuBiz.com announces that it is currently developing joint-venture promotion packages for select independent recording artists who cannot afford to pay for radio promotion and media publicity. These packages will allow recording artists to experience worldwide radio promotion, media publicity and video promotion without upfront charges.

"There is a lot of great product released that never makes it to the mass level, primarily, because of a lack of money to sustain a marketing, promotion, publicity and advertising campaign for the time that is needed," says Kenny Love, president of MuBiz.com. "We hope to assist more artists in making it out of a financially stagnating situation."

While MuBiz.com will not be assessing upfront charges for promotion and publicity, joint-venture artists will be required to sign a year-long agreement with the company that states a particular percentage that the company will receive on sales units during the life of the agreement. Interested recording artists with 2005 releases only are encouraged to contact the company via email at Kenny Love, or send a copy of their releases, along with a cover letter referencing this offer and their website to: Attn: Kenny Love, President, c/o MuBiz.com, 115 Barnhill Drive, Crockett, Texas 75835.
